For me, a painting is a multidimensional event. The duration of a painting is as brief as a single glance — and I want to stretch that moment as far as possible.I want the painting to resemble an experience, a kind of initiation.I want the viewer's gaze to remain within the painting just a moment longer.I want the viewer to feel the painting in their body.
